Thinking about the EIC Accelerator? Don’t wait for January

If you’re aiming for the EIC Accelerator’s 20 January 2027 Full Proposal cut-off and still need a Short Proposal GO, the work starts now.

Our advice: prepare and submit your Short in November.

The date to watch is 1 December

Short Proposals go to evaluators on the first Tuesday of each month at 17:00 Brussels time. The expected 4–6 weeks for feedback starts from that batch, rather than the day you upload.

  • Catch the 1 December batch: feedback is expected between 29 December and 12 January. That leaves 8–22 days before the January Full deadline.
  • Miss that batch: your Short goes into the 5 January batch. Feedback is then expected on 2–16 February, making 17 March your next Full cut-off.

A submission before 17:00 Brussels time on 1 December can still enter December’s batch. November is our recommended buffer, not an official extra deadline.

Don’t leave the Full until your GO arrives

The pitch, three-minute video and supporting evidence need to tell the same story. Gathering technical, commercial and financial evidence takes time.

At Silicon Capital Partners, we assess the fit and prepare the Short and Full as one coherent funding case. Where the case justifies it, we plan Full preparation in parallel with the Short evaluation.

You still need a GO and a complete Full. The feedback windows are indicative, not guaranteed decisions.

Aiming for March instead?

Plan around the 5 January Short batch for the 17 March Full cut-off.

The 2 February batch could still deliver feedback before the March cut-off, but the expected window leaves only 1–15 days. Miss that batch and expected feedback falls after 17 March; the next scheduled Full cut-off is 1 September.

If you already hold a valid GO or use an eligible direct-access route, your timetable differs.
