• TRL 3 as entry point targeting TRL 5–6
• Grant up to EUR 2.5M
• No equity component.

EIC ACCELERATOR

For deep tech startups with validated technology that need to scale to market
• Minimum TRL 5 completed in practice TRL 6
• Grant up to EUR 2.5M
• Equity investment from EUR 1M to EUR 10M

EIC STEP SCALE-UP

For deep tech scale ups in strategic European technologies preparing major funding rounds
• Advanced scale up stage beyond Accelerator
• Equity only
• EIC investment between EUR 10M and EUR 30M
